PingNear helps adults find a compatible nearby person and coordinate a meeting in a public place.

Contact

For help with the app, email [email protected]. Include your device platform, a brief description of the problem, and the approximate time it occurred. Do not send passwords, identity documents, or precise coordinates.

Location troubleshooting

• Turn on Location Services for the device.
• Allow PingNear to access location while the app is in use.
• Confirm that the device has an internet connection.
• Move to an open area and try again if the device cannot determine its location.

Notification troubleshooting

• Allow notifications when PingNear asks for permission.
• Check that notifications are enabled for PingNear in device settings.
• Open the app after installing an update so it can register the current notification token.

Safety and reporting

Use Report in an active meeting or chat to send a concern for review. Use Block to end the meeting immediately and prevent that person from matching with or messaging you again. PingNear also applies automated safety filtering to nicknames and chat messages. For urgent child-safety concerns, review the Child Safety Standards. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement.

Privacy and deletion

Read the Privacy Policy or follow the data deletion instructions to request deletion of information associated with an anonymous session.
