Child Safety Standards

PingNear has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. The service is intended only for adults aged 18 or older.

1. Prohibited conduct

PingNear prohibits any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes:

• child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including attempted sharing or solicitation;
• grooming, sexualization of a child, sextortion, or coercion;
• trafficking or attempting to arrange sexual contact involving a child;
• encouraging, facilitating, or concealing child sexual abuse or exploitation; and
• misrepresenting age to obtain access to age-restricted matching or communication.

2. Reporting concerns

Users can report another participant from the active meeting or chat experience by selecting Report, describing the concern, and submitting it for review. Selecting Block ends the meeting immediately and prevents future matching and messaging between those users. PingNear also applies automated safety filtering to nicknames and chat messages. Child-safety concerns can also be sent to the designated contact below. If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.

3. Review and enforcement

We review reports and available service records relevant to the concern. Depending on the circumstances, PingNear may restrict access, prevent repeated matching, preserve relevant evidence, remove prohibited content where applicable, and cooperate with competent authorities. Deliberately false or abusive reports may also lead to restrictions.

4. CSAM response and legal compliance

PingNear does not provide photo, video, or file uploads. If we nevertheless obtain actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or child sexual exploitation connected to the service, we will take appropriate action under these standards and applicable law. This includes preserving and reporting relevant information to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or the appropriate regional authority when required.
